About the Symposium

The Symposium serves as a catalyst for accelerating revolutionary research and facilitating its transition to operations and commercialization by bringing together the USSF, universities, and industries. All information shared in this forum must be publicly releasable. 

Find out if your university is eligible:

Who should consider attending the Symposium?
  • One or more senior university researcher(s) that is knowledgeable about the breadth and scope of research happening in the chosen topic areas and the limits of the current state of the art. They should have an interest in where the future is headed in that technology area.
  • One or more university researcher(s) who has technology aligned with one or more of the focus areas that is close to transition or one that is interested in transitioning their technology.
  • Grad/doctoral students are welcome.
  • Government stakeholders who have a vested interest in the topic areas.
  • Industry stakeholders who have a vested interest in the topic areas.

  • Advanced Space Power and Propulsion
  • Advanced Remote Sensing
  • Cyber Mission Assurance and Data Trust

About the University Consortium

The Objective of the USSF University Consortium is to mature and transition fundamental research and early-stage technology development into transformational capabilities for the space domain. The USSF UC addresses science and technology (S&T) challenges via virtual multi-party technology institutes. The institutes shall comprise a network of leading U.S. universities partnered with industry and collaborating with government labs to solve long term USSF S&T needs.
